Uncertain times in shimmyland

It's a new world right now. Restaurants have closed down, parties, weddings, festivals cancelled. The bellydance world is rough right now. Our way of life is in the public eye. But we must shimmy on. We are lucky enough to live in an electronic age. We can keep ourselves focused and connected by through the magic of the internet. So many amazing things to do such as daily bellydance drills, watching new makeup tutorials, following online bellydance classes and catching shows online. I was thrilled to be invited to an online Hafla. Even while we are fully invested in social distancing, the bellydance community keeps closely knit. So even though we are stuck in our houses, we are still going to get all dolled up, throw on our rhinestones, and put on an amazing show!
